By A Landslide

Yeah, I know I said I was going to post this by this morning. I’ve been busy.

Anyway, as the post title suggests, this competition was indeed won by a landslide. Normally, we have a close race and because of this, a lot of times we have a first and second and occasionally a third place prize. Not so this time. No one came remotely close to tying our winner, even though all of the entries were excellent and did receive votes, to be sure.

So, big congrats and 5,000 blog points go out to the author of #4, Debra!

4. She’d wanted to tell him a lot of things for a long time, but in the end just the one thing, that she needed him to dial 911, but as usual he wasn’t paying attention.
