The Pie View
While we didn’t have as much pie variety as I had hoped, what we did have was exceptionally good.
Pictured below is a white peach pie with a golden flaky crust brought by Teri. Very good and really photogenic! Isn’t it pretty?
This next one is my French silk pie. Apparently, it tastes like a 3 Musketeer;-)
Next is my banana creme. It was a bit warm still last night and it is ohsomuchbetter cold!
And, last but certainly not least….Rob’s (yes, I said Rob’s) apple pie. Very flavorful w/a tasty crumb topping! This is the one I ate for you, Adrienne!
Not pictured is the wonderful (yet fat free) ice cream and cool whip supplied by Miriam (the blogless)
The would-be pies (if the makers had not been sick) included pumpkin and orange raisin.
I’m just kidding on the orange raisin. I think.
Thanks to everyone who came and brought a little something yummy to share for Kevin’s big 30! I think he had a good time.
To all of you who didn’t make it. You suck.
But I still love you;-)

Yum! So sorry, Kimmy. Buddy fell asleep at um 6? Couldn’t believe it. I had been gone all day and couldn’t bear to leave Rich alone. I was feeling guilty. He was feeling a little rough. Sorry KEVIN–here’s a belated birthday greeting and blessing.
That’s okay, Amy. Don’t feel bad at all. We would have loved to see you, but we totally understand.
Btw, it’s not actually a belated greeting. His b-day isn’t until Tuesday;-)
Ya…so I suck, but I really am sorry for missing. I am really sad about that. But, just to make you feel better, I mad a blackberry pie on Wed. and ate it so that I didn’t feel so left out:-) I know you wouldn’t have liked it, but it was wonderful:-)Happy Birthday Kevin!!!
Yes, yes, we are all schmucks for not being there. And don’t you worry, if I can speak for all the non-attendees, it seems we are at a loss for not attending. Man those things look good!
