I’m home sick today, so I figured I’d take this opportunity to blog a bit.

I really don ‘t have much going on personally. I’ve been spending all of my free time up at the hospital. (my mom was re-admitted Monday)

I can tell you all about my new Bunn coffee pot! I love it. We finally got it, I don’t know, a couple of weeks ago? Time is so screwed up right now. It is a wonderful machine, but we have quickly discovered just how horrible our water is here. After only a few days of use, the sprayer head and all that was completely clogged. Finally, nothing would come out of this “brew in less than 3 minutes pot” so.. I used the nifty deliming tool and bought some bottled water. It is now flowing properly and I vow to never use our local water in it again!

You wanna know the worst part of all that? We use a Brita filter on our water and it is STILL awful.

In other news…we are planning to go get new cellphones this weekend! I cannot wait. I have been wanting a new phone for a million years. Kevin and I both have the same “free” phone that came with our contract two years ago. It’s an okay phone, but it’s very hard to hear on and very uncomfortable to use. So, now that we are finally within contract renewing range…new phones we shall have!

You must forgive me for getting overly excited about these little things, but right now I am trying very hard to really enjoy all of the little things in life. I honestly think this is something that we should always do. Life is awesome, and we should appreciate every moment of it.

Y’all know that though.

Also, I heard a rumor that O’Charley’s has finally opened in Boardman. Can anyone confirm that fact?

I like little things that bring me happiness. I’m all for that. Fighting depression lots has now brought me to really appreciate small joys. Hope we can meet at the Encore next week? One of my fav little things is their Chai Latte!!!!! I NEED ONE! The kids are slightly sick again, small fevers, had to get Ella early from school today. Anyways..I agree most definitely about the little things. That is why I have waaay slowed down involvement and my own aspirations recently. :-)

You still free to do my hair on Sat.? If so, what time is good for you?

We are doing something that is temporary correct? How often do you wash your hair, because we will need to check the labels on how long they last. Usually, they will tell you like 6 weeks or so many washes. It depends on the brand.

Probably early afternoon would be good for me on Saturday. If you haven’t bought it yet, we should probably wait until Saturday and go pick it out then so we can see which one is best.

The play is in two weeks right?

Are you gonna do my hair, too?

And I’m with you with the delighting in small things.

It’s why I keep a stash of chocolate around the house. *cough*

I do enjoy the chai-latte’s at the Encore. Ell keeps trying to get me to try the dirty chai-latte (normal brewing but with a shot of espresso) but I haven’t been brave enough. Don’t want to mess with a good thing, ya know?

    Hehe I agree Sam.
And if Eliza goes, I do to! LOL!

I can’t wait for you to make me a yummy cup of coffee in that new coffee pot of yours! I’m so jealous! I have been in need of a new coffee pot for months. Mine still leaks.

I agree, delight in the little things. They are important enough to not overlook!
