Auld Lang Syne

I have officially boycotted the year 2008. I am no longer participating in it.

Wake me when it’s 2009 and promise me a better year.

Kevin’s grandpa passed away last night. We were not expecting it. He had had quadruple bypass surgery last week, but had been recovering nicely. We’re not sure what went wrong, but something caused his heart rate to drop drastically last night and while they were attempting to figure out what was wrong, he passed away.

He was a wonderful guy. He always had a hug for me. He wasn’t just Kevin’s grandpa to me, he was mine too. I loved him very much.
