Just Adding To The Randomness
I need to start blogging regularly again.
After all, my millions billions of readers are patiently waiting. You can see the way I subtly changed millions to billions. My rule has always been: I don’t personally inform anyone I know about my blog, but if they go to the trouble to find it, they are more than welcome to join the millions of readers already enjoying The Smug Cloud .
Which brings me to the millions to billions change. Word is getting out about the fabulousness of my blog and more and more people are discovering it and shouting for joy at their privilege to read it.
I know, okay, this is getting pretty blarneyful. I’ll move on to more serious things.
I actually had planned a very serious post, but I’m thinking I should save that for just a bit later. I need more time to collect what I’m going to say and I need more time to get my emotions in check. My emotions have had a wide range over the past week and a half and I need to sort out the valid from the invalid, or some such thing.
I just realized that in-valid is spelled just like in-va-lid.
Wow. See, that’s why readers flock to this blog, it’s not only fabulously entertaining, it’s educational too!
Anyway…
I finished The Two Faces of January last night, so I can finally pick up City of Bones (Yes, this is the book that I had to wait patiently for while some library patron before me leisurely finished up their reading way beyond when it was due.) It finally came in, almost two weeks ago actually. So, the bad thing here is that it’s due back THIS Wednesday and I’ll probably only start it tonight. Now, I must hope and pray that I can renew it and that no one has it on reserve after me, because as we all know, I DO NOT do late fees. After all, the person waiting next in line, might not be as patient and understanding as I was to that patron before me;-)
Okay, next on the agenda…the weather. Not much to say here, I won’t complain about this week, since it’s going to be cooler, but I will say that I am sick of summer ALREADY and it hasn’t even technically arrived yet. I’ll try not to complain all summer, but eeesh, the humidity we’ve had the last week or so has been grueling torture.
I’m at a loss for words now, so I’m gonna quit while I’m ahead. This post is about as random as some other people I know;-)
PS. I do not promote, advocate, encourage or in any way assist in Kevin’s visits to the ladies fitting rooms.

Hi That was too funny how we bumped into you guys yesterday at lunch. It ended being just Ella and I b/c Rich and Buddy went home, which was NOT supposed to happen! Oh well. It is really nice in there, how they fixed things up. We practically ate the whole pizza though! And had smoothies. Looking forward to seeing you this week!
Kimmy, Kimmy, Kimmy. You must remember that the sweltering summer heat brings about those fresh ‘maters and such that you love so much. Just a thought. hee-hee
