We Don’t Joke About Ice Cream

After sleeping in today and enjoying some leftover pizza for brunch, we did something monumentally exciting…

We went to the new Columbiana Theatre and saw The Dark Knight!

This was our first trip EVER to the new and improved Columbiana Theatre and it was quite impressive. It’s also been a good while since we’ve had the opportunity to enjoy theatre going in general, so it was really awesome to do so today. 

The movie was incredible btw. Heath Ledger was amazing as The Joker- totally creepy and just really, really good. 

After the movie we were starving, so we used the Applebee’s gift card that was bestowed upon Kevin by the company he recently took a trip to visit. The food took FOREVER to arrive. We were starving and had to keep watching and waiting for the waiter to bring our food. Seriously, it took like an hour for sandwiches. I almost stabbed myself in the head with a fork, the waiting was so intense!  It was pretty good though. Applebee’s isn’t my favorite restaurant, but I totally dig free food, so that made it awesome;-)

On the way home we had to stop at Sparkle for some essentials (no bag-boy-carryout necessary TYVM!) and then we swung by Handels to take advantage of their dollar cone day. I didn’t know about this blessed event until a half hour before we went there, otherwise I would have informed all of you kind folk as well so that you could partake in the joyous occasion. 

We ran into a couple we used to attend church with and ended up talking to them for a good hour before heading home. 

And now, the day is coming to a close and so is this post.
