Read-a-thon time!

The observant among you may have already noticed the new clickable Read-a-thon button over yonder in column one, directly to your right.

Either way, it’s that time again! If y’all remember last year, a couple of us participated in a 24 hour long Read-a-thon, where all we did was read, blog about what we are reading and occasionally enter into a mini-challenge or two in which some of us actually won cool prizes. I won $10 from Amazon! It was awesome.

I am very excited to participate again this year. I did not read constantly throughout the entire 24 hours last year. (which is okay, you can customize to your individual needs) but I would like to improve on that this year. Also, it should help boost my 50/08 numbers tremendously. The year is growing short, you know!

Anyway..as I always say, the more the merrier! (do I always say that?) So, if you are at all interested, I encourage you to click on that fab little button and sign up. It only takes a second to sign up and it’s worth it. Yes, you could in theory just join in reading without signing up, but you would miss out on all the mini-challenges (i.e. chances to win stuff!) plus, you would miss out on all the encouragement from fellow readers and from the cheerleaders (people who sign up specifically to cheer us on)
