BK Fri Day
I braved the wild, wild world of Black Friday today. It was my first-time-ever!
I didn’t really encounter much of the craziness, but I did reap some of the benefits of the day!
Such as…3, count them 3 seasons of House MD for a mere $13.98 a piece! What a deal, right? The only bummer was that season 4 was not available. I am a happy camper though.
I think I’m going to want to save up and do some serious BK Friday shopping next year!
So yeah, that’s basically all I bought, except for a new pooper-scooper for a certain pup;-)
AND…
I saw Twilight.
With my buds.
It. Was. Awesome.
I loved it, I really did.
I want to see it again.
Also, I had a Panini at Panera. It was good, but I would have loved to have potato soup instead. Alas, it was not potato soup day in Panera-land.
The thing I don’t get, Panera puts the ready food trays up on the counter and leaves them there, signals your pager and assumes you will be the right one to pick up the right tray. If there are 7 or 8 trays on the counter, as there were today, how do you know which is the correct tray?
And, what is to stop some random shady character from coming in and just grabbing a tray and enjoying a free meal?
Crazy system if you ask me. And, you should ask me. I’m an expert on the food industry, you know.
Well, I’m off to watch some House! Catch y’all later!

I fully agree with the Panera food call. Really don’t like that system.
I, also, was out for my first ever Black Friday, but only because our store owner decided we should join in the craziness, and I was the one scheduled to work. I didn’t like getting up that early after only a very few hours of sleep. There was some enterainment value to it–people can be fun to watch.
