Take a Chance On Me!

I trust you all are working hard on your “About Me” challenge entries, no?

I’m sure you are!

Just a bit of info…if anyone is interested in doing the February NaBloPoMo along with me, the topic for the month is “WANT”.

Want can be defined several ways: as desire for possessions or experiences (“I want a bike,” “I want to learn to fly”); as a lack or deficiency (“Too many people live in want of basic necessities”).

I’m fairly certain as of now, that I am going to participate, anyone care to join in?

In other news…tomorrow is Kevin’s birthday! I am going to meet him for lunch at his lunch hour. The last time we did that was on our anniversary. It’s something I’d love to do more often if we could afford to. We are going to O’Charley’s to use up the last of a gift card we received;-) Yay for gift cards!!

I made spaghetti and meatballs last night, my mom’s recipe. It’s the first time I’ve made it since she’s been gone. I tried not to think about it. To top that off, I also made sugar cookies (also my mom’s recipe, though I made those at Christmas as well)

It’s snowing.

Oh, I also have a new case to crack. “The Case of the Missing Remote Control.” Seriously, the last time we saw this particular remote was Sunday evening. I have looked everywhere I can think of. It is gone. Vanished without a trace!

I am going to start a thorough investigation post-haste. I might even have to call in my trusty assistant on this one. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome!
